Citizens for Dialogue Convention

GPoT Center's project officer Sofia Hafdell participated in the Citizens for Dialogue Convention organized by the Anna Lindh Foundation and the Tunisian, Algerian and Moroccan Networks between the 24th and the 28th of March, 2013 in Tunisia.

The meeting, entitled "Euro-Mediterranean youth facing the crisis: citizenship, arts and transition", took place in Sousse (first and second day) and Tunis (third day) and was organized in the framework of “DAWRAK-Citizen for Dialogue” programme, and following the resolution of the Heads of Network during their annual meeting in Nicosia (Cyprus) in November 2012. 

The meeting focused on the field of citizenship, democracy, and sustainable development, and its outcomes aim to prepare the planned national convention in Tunisia. The meeting gathered participants of Maghreb countries as well as from other Euro-Med Countries, especially those with a recent experience in transitions. 

Sofia Hafdell participated as a speaker, on the 24th of March, in the workshop entitled: "Intercultural citizenship and democratic transition".
