EuroMeSCo Annual Conference 2016

Global Political Trends (GPoT) Center Director Mensur Akgün and Deputy Director Sylvia Tiryaki attended the EuroMeSCo 2016 Conference in Brussels as participants and supervisors of the project entitled Future of Syria.

The Conference brought together over 100 experts, researchers, and policy-makers. The main think tank network of politics and security of the Euro-Mediterranean area, coordinated by the IEMed, focused its annual conference on the security challenges in the Mediterranean region ahead of the release of the EU Global Strategy.

Given the geographic representation and recognized research work of the 100 centers of the EuroMeSCo network, the meeting was a key date on the calendar of think tank conferences on political and security issues in the region.

EuroMeSCo Yıllık Konferansı 2016

Küresel Siyasal Eğilimler Merkezi (GPoT) Direktörü Prof. Mensur Akgün ve Direktör Yardımcısı Dr. Sylvia Tiryaki Brüksel'de gerçekleşen EuroMeSCo Yıllık Konferansı'na hem katılımcı hem de Future of Syria (Suriye'nin Geleceği) projesinin yöneticileri olarak katıldılar.

Konferans 100'den fazla uzman, araştırmacı ve politikacıyı bir araya getirdi. IEMed tarafından organize edilen Avrupa-Akdeniz bölgesindeki önemli siyasi düşünce kuruluşları ağı olan Konferans, Avrupa Birliği'nin yeni küresel stratejisini açıklamasından sonra Akdeniz Bölgesi'nde yaşanabilecek güvenlik sorunlarını tartıştı.
