Diplomats from the MFA of the Republic of Indonesia Visit GPoT Center

With the aim to increase the cooperation between Turkey and Indonesia on the issue of democratic movements in the MENA region, a group of diplomats from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited GPoT Center on December 8th, 2011.

Led by the Minister Counselor Garnijanto Bambang Wahjudi and Freddy M. Panggabean from the Ministry’s Centre for Policy Planning and Development for International Organizations, the group of diplomats discussed the possible initiatives that GPoT Center and the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs could conduct for the democratization of the region.

During this meeting, the democratization experiences of both Indonesia and Turkey have been put on table. Additionally, both sides revealed their opinions on the recent developments in the region and the possible future projections.
