International Conference: State, Society and Democracy in Turkey in the Era of Globalization since 1980

Global Political Trends Center organized a one day conference in partnership with the Contemporary Turkish Studies within the London School of Economics in London.

The meeting was attended by academicians and journalists from Turkey and UK. The issues discussed during the meeting included the transformation of state and society and the democratization process in Turkey between 1980 and the present.

Uluslararası Konferans: Küreselleşme Çağında Türkiye’de Devlet, Toplum ve Demokrasi

GPoT tarafından 28 Kasım 2008 tarihinde LSE Çağdaş Türkiye Çalışmaları Kürsüsü ortaklığı ile Londra’da uluslararası bir konferans düzenlenmiştir.

Toplantı Türkiye ve İngiltere’den akademisyen ve gazetecilerin katılımı ile gerçekleşmiştir. Konferans sırasında 1980’den itibaren Türkiye’de devlet ve toplumdaki dönüşümler ile demokratikleşme süreci ele alınmıştır.
