Turkish Journalists in Armenia

GPoT Center, in collaboration with Internews Armenia, brought 4 Turkish journalists to Yerevan between November 20th and 24th, 2011. The journalism exchange was part of the "Dialogue-Building Between Turkey and Armenia" project.

The journalists, from well-known newspapers in Turkey, met with Armenian journalists and civil society figures, including Salpi Ghazarian, the director of The Civilitas Foundation, Richard Giragosian, the director of the Regional Studies Center, Sonia Tashjian, cuisine program host and writer, in Yerevan, and they also visited the famous painter Ruben Babayan and his wife, a goblen artist Ruzan Babayan at the Local Art Center. The journalists also visited cultural and historical sites in Yerevan.
