Istanbul Screening of Turkey-Armenia Short Documentaries

GPoT Center organized the screening of a selection of films made by Turkish and Armenian students in their neighboring countries at Istanbul Kültür University on December 23rd, 2011.
The six Turkish and Armenian students made the films in 2011 as part of the "Dialogue-Building between Armenia and Turkey" project, funded by the United States Department of State Bureau of Democracy, Rights and Labor. The films were co-produced by Internews Armenia and CAM Film (based in Istanbul), with the support of GPoT Center. They were screened in Armenia between December 5th and 7th, 2011.

The screening and the films received press coverage in the Haberturktelevision station; Jamanak, a Turkish-Armenian newspaper; and the Gamurç/Köprü program on the IMC TV network.

The Turkish students' films can be viewed below or on GPoT Center's YouTube page. The Armenian students' films can be viewed on Internews Armenia's YouTube page.

*These films were funded in part by a grant from the United States Department of State. The opinions, findings and conclusions stated herein are those of the film makers and do not necessarily reflect those of the United States Department of State or of the project partners.
