Towards a Stable Afghanistan in a Peaceful Region

On Friday, June 3, 2011, Global Political Trends Center in partnership with New York University's Center on International Cooperation and the Institute of Strategic Thinking (Stratejik Düşünce Enstitüsü) and with the support of the Turkish and Norwegian Ministries of Foreign Affairs.

...organized an academic panel entitled "Towards a Stable Afghanistan in a Peaceful Region" at the Conrad Hotel in Istanbul. The panelists, who were from Turkey, Pakistan, India, Iran, Afghanistan and the United States, discussed the regional implications of the current situation in Afghanistan and possibilities for cooperation.
