A cooperation protocol was signed on Thursday, February 2, 2023 between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and the Youth Raised under Care and Foster Family Association (KALBEN). As a part of the protocol signed by Our Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, the two institutions will carry out joint social projects for young people brought up under the care.

The first meeting of the TÜBİTAK ARDEB 3005 Innovative Solutions in Social and Human Sciences Research Project, titled “A Mobile Application Generating Alternative Tourism Routes Based on Artificial Intelligence Routing Algorithms: The Case of Amasya”, which is carried out by Prof. Dr. Emel Birer from the IKU Department of Architecture, and whose researchers are,  IKU Deputy Director of Technology Transfer Office Alparslan Güzey, from Yeditepe University Assist. Prof. Pınar Çalışır Adem, from Marmara University Assist. Prof. Gözde Karataş Baydoğmuş, from Amasya University Faculty of Architecture Assist. Prof. Bige Şimşek İlhan and Res. Assist. Deniz Özge Aytaç, was held on Thursday, January 26, at IKU Technology Transfer Office.

The project team aims to increase the tourism potential of Amasya city centre with the mobile application to be created based on various urban analyses.  With their project, they aim to create a product that brings value to Turkey.

Job Definition

1. To follow the created short and long-term business plans,
2. To monitor activities according to project plans,
3. To follow the rut optimization processes,
4. To make the necessary improvements and to report by measuring the supplier and self-owned vehicle output performance according to the determined KPIs,
5. To make preliminary preparations of daily / weekly logistic exits from the system,
6. To work in coordination with the unit personnel on the implementation of the decisions taken.

Required Skills and Specializations

• Graduated from the relevant departments of universities,
• Knowledgeable in logistics processes (Entrance Logistics, Factory Logistics and Distribution Logistics),

World-famous pianist and composer Fazıl Say will entertain art lovers with a magnificent concert at Istanbul Kultur University.  In the concert to be held at Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center on February 9, 2023 at 19.00, Fazıl Say will stage a performance consisting of works by contemporary composers as well as his own compositions.
