"İŞKUR Liaison Point" Business and Professional Consultancy Office Started Service

A cooperation protocol between İŞKUR and IKU has been signed on Thursday, November 14. Within the protocol, "İŞKUR Liaison Point" Business and Professional Consultancy Office started service on Monday, December 2.

The opening at the Kültür Point Experience and Development Office; İstanbul Kültür University (IKU) Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Güzel, Rector Advisor Assist. Prof. Dr. Hikmet Caglar, Student Life, Career and Alumni Advisory Unit (Kültür Point) Chairman Dr. Neslihan Fatma Er and ISKUR Provincial Directorate of Bahcelievler Service Center Branch Manager Asım Avlanmaz and Employment Service Chief Habib Hosanlı attended.

ISKUR Liaison Point will be open every Monday and Tuesday between 10.00-15.00 until June 10, 2020. You can contact the "ISKUR Liaison Point" for everything you are curious about such things as labor market, ISKUR activities, job search processes, interview techniques, effective resume preparation.

"Designing the Darkness " Seminar

Istanbul Kültür University Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department organized a seminar titled "Designing the Darkness" to explain the importance of lighting design to the students on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. Lighting Designer Ali Berkman from ONOFF met with our students at the event held in Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall.

Information Meeting on the Principles of Double Major and Minor Program

İstanbul Kültür University Department of Business Administration Double Major Coordinator Research Assistant Emre Zehir organized an information meeting, to the department instructors, about İstanbul Kültür University Directive on the Principles of Double Major and Minor Program that came into force on October 17th, 2019. The event was held in Basın Ekspres Campus B-502 meeting hall at 13:00.

Öztiryakiler Industrial Kitchen Technical Visit

Belgin Gözke, a member of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of Istanbul Kültür University, and an Expert Dietician Gözde Ekici organized a technical visit to Öztiryakiler Industrial Kitchen on November 28th 2019. Within the scope of “Mass Feeding Systems I (BES5002), our students had the opportunity to observe the industrial kitchen designs used in areas where mass food production and consumption are used for professional practice.

“Women-Communication-Language and Discourse”

İstanbul Kültür University Women and Social Research Unit (İKÜKAD) discussed the place of women in the discourse settled in Turkish culture with the event titled “Women-Communication-Language and Discourse" in Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on Thursday, November 28th. Sociologist Serap Duygulu explained the problems experienced by women in the social dimension by exemplifying the place where women are located in the common culture through the discourses placed in our language. The other speaker at the event Lawyer Leyla Yüzücü made a presentation on the reflection of the role assigned to women even in legal processes to the litigation processes, through the cases she advocated and also through the real events. The actor Fatih Mühürdar, on the other hand, expressed his comments by making a connection between the position of women in the works of art revealed in the past in different forms and the place of women in social life.

8th Career Days

One of our graduates took part in the 8th Career Days organized by İKÜ Career Club. Didar Karataş, who graduated from the Faculty of Law and Art and Design Faculty (Double Major) in 2017, delivered her speech titled ‘’Destination of Education: Initiative’’ at the event held at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on December 3-4.

OMG Media was the guest of the Digital Media and Marketing Program

Digital Media and Marketing Program came together with OMG Media founding partners. ‘’Life in the Agency is Like School Life?’’ In the themed interview, OMG Media's founding story, agency life and business processes were discussed in an interactive way.

İKÜ Department of Architecture Attended “YTU - Bauhaus 100th Anniversary Celebration Activities”

Within the scope of the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus, “YTU - Bauhaus 100th Anniversary Celebration Activities”, which includes exhibitions, interviews and workshops, was organized by YTU Architecture Department between 11-24 November 2019. Architecture Department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emel Birer and Assist. Prof. Dr. Esin Hasgül took part in the event as members of the Board of Directors at “Bauhaus Effect in Space: Spatial Projection of Visibility in Public Space”. IKU Architecture Department students showed great interest in the activities which were open to all university students.

Vocational School Students Attend ” Digital Transformation Fair and Summit ”

Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School Public Relations and Publicity Program, Business Management Program, Logistics Program and Air Logistics Program students participated in the “Digital Transformation Fair and Summit ”. Our students; At the summit, which provided brands with digital transformation products and services on Industry 4.0, Financial Technologies, 5G and Internet of Things themes, they had the opportunity to be together with the leaders in the industry, economy and communication sectors. Following the presentations and speeches made by sector professionals at the Digital Transformation Fair and Summit, our students saw the impact and importance of digital transformation on industry, economy and communication.

Architecture Talks 62 - “Architecture, What Later?”

Department of Architecture, Chamber of Architects Istanbul Metropolitan Branch President Esin Köymen, the President of the Association of Independent Architects Sibel Dalokay Bozer and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Council President Tülin Hadi organized a panel entitled “Architecture, What Later?”. In the event, which was held on Wednesday, November 20, the speakers informed our students on the potential of the architectural profession, architectural education and its relationship with the architecture industry.

Following the panel, awards were presented to the most successful project students who were selected by the jury members among the works produced by the students of the Department of Architecture in the Spring Semester of 2018-2019. After the award ceremony held with the participation of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nihal Sarıer, the event ended with a cocktail.

Academics of IKU Participated in The "Quality and Patient Safety Symposium"

Instructor Zehra Kaşka Üreten, Head of Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program, and Emin Aksan, one of our faculty members, participated in the "Quality and Patient Safety Symposium" where issues such as patient safety, accreditation, quality in health care, ethics and risk management in health services were discussed. The symposium was held at Bezmialem Vakif University on Thursday, November 28.

Alligator Boya Technical Trip

The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design organized a technical trip to Alligator Boya's Gebze production facilities on Wednesday, November 27th. Timur Ergun, director of Alligator Paint Marketing, informed our students during the trip, which was held within the scope of "Color in Interior Architecture" course.

Art Management Department “Zorlu PSM” Trip

Head of Department of Art Management Prof. Dr. Kıvılcım Yıldız Şenürkmez organized a trip to Zorlu PSM on Friday, November 22 within the scope of “Institutions of Culture and Art in the Process of Modernization”. Zafer Çeçen, Organizational Manager of Zorlu PSM, Sinan Bader, Production Supervisor, and Merve Karaçöl, Sponsorship and Marketing Manager, discussed “Event Management”. Within the framework of the protocol signed between Zorlu PSM and Istanbul Kültür University, the courses planned with experts from different departments of Zorlu PSM were also covered in the topics of “Programming in Performing Arts ”,“ Festival Organization ”and “Sponsorship in Performing Arts”.

“Digital Content Management in Social Media”

In cooperation of the New Media and Communications Club and the Department of New Media and Communications, the 1st International Media and Communications Division on Monday (November 27th) will be held in Istanbul on Monday (November 27th). An event titled "Digital Content Management in Social Media" was held in the multi-purpose hall. Hürriyet Newspaper Digital Content Expert Kübra Genç, who attended the event as a speaker, told our students about the concept of journalism that transitions from traditional to digital and the digital transformations that took place in this context. Genç, within the scope of internet journalism, the positioning of social media and the way news is presented, preparation, interaction, etc., such as the subject, such as the sectoral experience sampling the students transferred. The event ended with question and answers and recommendations for the sector.

"International Trade, Finance and Logistics" Interview

The Department of International Trade conducted an interview monday (November 25th) titled "International Trade, Finance and Logistics". Onel Customs Brokerage General Manager Osman Karatay, Onel Customs Brokerage Board Member Dr. Hakan Kaya and OGL Global Logistics Deputy General Manager Orkam Özdemir were the speakers of the event, press express campus between 13.00-16.00 It was held in the Conference Hall. At the end of the event, which emphasized the importance of the customs consultancy profession and the importance of the profession in the international trade and logistics sector, the résumés of our students were collected for internships and job opportunities.

Students of the Department of Communication Arts Tried "Eye Tracking" Glasses in Internet Advertising Course

In the course of Internet Advertising given by Instructor A. Berrak Köten, IKU Department of Communication Arts students had a chance to try "Eye Tracking" method, with the presentation of Business Managemet Instructor Burak Öçlü, that has begun to increase in neuro-marketing applications in recent years. Our students who tried "Eye Tracking" glasses that is used for the analysis of advertisements, the concentration of website visitors, the efficient identification of sponsored advertising spaces in search engines, the areas of attention created by consumers while reading ad texts, the decision-making process in billboard positioning strategies, the determination of shelf value in supermarkets and the points where pilots and drivers are used, had an idea of how the application works.

Students Symposium

Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences organized "Student Symposium” on December 2nd and 4th. In two days, our students presented their 37 poster presentations that they complete with their academic advisors.

IKU Vocational School Logistics Program Level Logistics Visit

Head of Logistics Program Instructor Ayşegül Kılıç and Instructor Gökhan Kırbaç visited Level Logistics Company on Tuesday 3rd December. During the visit held within the scope of cooperation and protocol preliminary discussions with our university, the internship opportunities and developments of our Logistics Program students were discussed.

“Technological Cold War” Conference

The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences held a conference titled Technological Cold War on Tuesday (November 26th). The event was hosted by Prof. Dr. Tunç Özelli from the New York Institute of Technology between 13.00 and 14.00. Prof. Dr. Tunç Özelli, in his presentation, emphasized the developing importance of technology among countries and talked about the foundations of technological cold war.

Professions of the Future Seminar Series II: Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Seminar

The Department of International Trade continues to introduce business opportunities in different fields to the students by hosting the leading names of the sector in our university. Dr. Tevfik Uyar from Port Civil Aviation Inc., who participated in the event held at the Basın Express Campus Conference Hall on Wednesday, November 27, between 14.00-15.00, gave a lecture titled ‘’Professions of the Future Seminar Series II: Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Seminar’’.

Department of Architecture Historical Peninsula Trip

The Department of Architecture organized “Historical Peninsula Excursion” on Thursday, November 28 as part of the “MIM0317 Cultural Interactions in Ottoman Architecture in the 18th and 19th Century”. The German Fountain, Istanbul Archeology Museum, IEL building and Sirkeci Railway Station, which constitute the architectural pillar of the changes that the Ottoman Empire had undergone in two centuries, were examined.

Thursday, November 28, the Department of Entrepreneurship organized a technical trip to the “Big Bang | Start-up Challenge event”.

The Meeting of Cooperation between FEAS and OGL Global Logistics and Onel Customs Consultancy

A meeting was held on 25 November 2019 Monday between Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) and OGL Global Logistics and Onel Customs Consultancy. Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Ali Şen and our Vice Dean Assist. Prof. Nebile Korucu Gümüşoğlu attended the meeting; Internships, job opportunities and possible collaborations within the scope of projects were discussed.

Instructor Tuvana Eroltu Attended Pegasus Airlines Basic Safety Training as Observer Instructor

Head of Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program Instructor Tuvana Eroltu attended to the course of Pegasus Airlines Instructor Oğuz Sönmezoğlu who work within the scope of IKU, as observer instructor on Saturday 30th November. Eroltu who touched on diction and announcement rules, correct breathing and knotting, made students work on sound, breathing, knuckling and announcement techniques.

“Competition is Competing with Yourself”

Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences organized an event entitled “Competition is Competing with Yourself“ in Basın Ekpres Campus on Friday 29th November. The competition, in which 18 students competed in two different categories, was the scene of colorful moments. The winner was the Business Administration Department; The Department of Entrepreneurship came second and the Department of Economics came third. In the men's category, the Entrepreneurship Department reached the top; The Department of Economics ranked second and the Department of Business Administration ranked third.

Aviation Interview with Onur Air Cabin Services President Tülay Bulut

The Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program conducted an interview on cabin recruitment in line with the needs of the aviation industry. Tülay Bulut, the President of Onur Air Cabin Services, attended the event which was held at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on Monday, December 2nd between 13.00-14.00. In his speech, Bulut said that all Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program students have open doors in the recruitment of cabin crew, and as Onur Air, they gave the good news that they will support the internship of the students. Bulut emphasized the importance of awareness and foreign language in the cabin crew profession and said that Onur Air added 300 new cabin officers every year. Assist. Prof. Tuvana Eroltu and Oya Işıkçı gave Atatürk plate and plaque to the President of the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program Tülay Bulut.

E-Commerce Seminar

A Seminar on Recent Developments in E-Commerce was held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Press Express Campus in collaboration with the Business Administration Program and the Department of Business Administration. During the event, Murat Özdemir, Senior Manager of Software and Development at Hepsiburada.com, spoke about the expectations and differences of generation Z and Y from e-commerce, sales figures and results related to e-commerce applications such as 11.11.2019 and Black Friday 2019. Ozdemir gave information about recent developments in e-commerce in Turkey and application innovations (video chat & chatbots, personalization, big data, machine learning, image searh, blockcha's) latest information and trends in the fields to our students.

Protocol Between Public Relations and Publicity Program and Collective Advertising Agency

IKU Vocational School Public Relations and Publicity Program and strategy and brand positioning, viral campaigns, advergame, mobile applications, integrated applications, social media and web site design activities between the collective advertising agency signed a protocol for sectoral cooperation. Under the agreement; Internship, seminar and job opportunities will be offered to our students in the fields of strategy, software, design, creative and social media for brands.

The Department of International Trade continues to organize the "Future Professions Seminar Series" to introduce business opportunities in different fields to our students by hosting the leading names of the sector in our university. In the event held in Basın Ekpres Campus L-04 classroom on Thursday 5th December, Open Science Podcast Channel Specialist Kübra Karacan was the speaker and she gave a lecture titled “Computer Vision“ to the students.

Occupational Health and Safety in Health Sector Conference

İKÜ Vocational School Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program organized a conference titled Occupational Health and Safety in Health Sector where Evrim Akbayır, Medicana Health Group Occupational Safety Manager, was the keynote speaker in order to identify the prominent risks in the health sector and to inform our students about the ways of protection from risks and employee safety.

“GPS Technique and Applications”

The Construction Technology Program organized an event titled ‘’GPS Technique and Uses’’ on Monday (December 2nd). Volkan Özbey, an academician from Istanbul Technical University, attended the event held at our İncirli campus as a speaker. In the event, the use of GPS systems in the construction sector and the expected large Istanbul earthquake in the context of the relationship between ‘’GPS and Earthquake Research’’ was mentioned.

Association of Financial Institutions Technical Trip

Within the scope of ‘’Risk Management’’, ‘’Risk Management and ‘’Foreign Trade Finance’’ courses given by Assist. Prof. Dr. Selda Eke, International Trade Department and Business Administration Department, a technical trip was organized to the Association of Financial Institutions. Within the scope of the trip, which was held on Monday, November 25, the students were informed about Factoring and Leasing.

Kağan Okatan, one of the faculty members of the Department of International Trade, gave ‘’Business Intelligence Training’’ on Monday, November 25 from 15.00 to 16.00. In education, ‘’how can we use large and complex data?’’ and ‘’How can we transform it into Knowledge?’’ questions were answered to the students.

Yavuz Kankavi, one of the lecturers of International Trade Department, hosted Ali Şevki Karataş, the owner of Karataş Transportation Group, at our university within the scope of International Trade Logistics course. Karataş informed our students about Road Transport and Partial Transport on the Road in the activity held in Z-02 Classroom of Press Express Campus.

Res. Assist. Dr. Nazlı Miraç Ümit, faculty member of the Department of Art Management, his work which is collaboration with Professor Marvin Carlson ‘’Letaif-i Hayal, Traditional Turkish Theater: Karagöz Puppet Plays’’, was published by Martin E. Segal Theater Center of New York University.

Instructor Tuvana Eroltu gave Body Language and Diction Seminar at Esenyurt University

Instructor Tuvana Eroltu, Head of Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program, gave a Body Language and Diction Seminar at Esenyurt University on Thursday, November 28th. Eroltu emphasized the importance of the correct use of body language in effective communication and effective oratory and made interactive studies with the students during the seminar. Our teacher stated that body language mastery, breathing control and correct use of tone increase the chances of success especially in cabin crew interviews. At the end of the seminar, after the attendance documents prepared by Esenyurt Career Center were presented to the students, souvenir photos were taken.

IKU Vocational School Tourism and Hotel Management Program students participated in the II. International Tourism Summit organized by International Tourism Hoteliers Association at Ramada Hotel & Suites Istanbul Golden Horn on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. At the summit, our students who have comprehensive and up-to-date information about the sector had the opportunity to meet the leading names of the sector.

The Department of Cinema and Television hosted Fiction Director Umut Ozan Bölükoğlu and Director Ulaş Cihan Şimşek, who have been working as editors in the TV series and cinema sector for many years, at our university. In an interview held at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on Thursday, November 21, Bölükoğlu and Şimşek shared their experiences with the students.

Istanbul Kültür University Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center continues to bring together beautiful events with Kültür members and art lovers. Akıngüç Stage will be hosting the theater play “My Mom Should Stop Now" which will be held within the scope of the 2019-2020 Art Year, on Thursday, December 12th between 19.00-21.00.

Architecture Talks 66 - "Current Studies on Natural Building Materials"

The 66th guest of the “Architecture Talks" organized by the Department of Architecture will be the Natural Building Materials Working Group. A series of seminars, panels and exhibitions will be held under the title of Current Studies on Natural Building Materials ” on Thursday December 12, 2019 at Ataköy Campus B-1 MTS 2 between 14.00 and 17.00.

Contemporary Art Interviews: Furkan 'Nuka' Birgün

The Department of Communication Design continues to organize "Contemporary Art Interviews" to bring students together with contemporary artists so that they can learn about working practices. The event that Graffiti Artist & Illustrator Furkan Nuka Birgün informs our students about graffiti, book design, creating a story and illustration, will be held in Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on Thursday, December 12 between 13:00-15:00.

Being a Creative Teacher

In cooperation with the Department of Foreign Language Education and ELT Club, a conference titled “Being a Creative Teacher” will be held in order to raise awareness of the place of creativity in education. Prof Dr. Hakkı Mirici from Yakın Doğu University, Prof. Dr. Gürkan Doğan from Maltepe University, Assit. Prof. Ezgi Aydemir from ETZ Academy and İlker Bayrak and Gülden Bayrak from Büyükçekmece District National Education Directorate will be the speakers of the event. The event will take place on Monday, December 9 from 09.00 to 17.00 in the Z-16 Conference Hall.

PDR Application and Research Center will organize a “Game Therapist Seminar” to inform our students. Specialist Psychologist Consultant Filiz Çetin will be the speaker, the event take place on 13 December Friday between 13.00-15.00 in our Basın Ekspres Campus.

“Preparing Healthy Foods for Children”

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics will organize an activity titled “Preparing Healthy Foods for Children” for its 3. Year students in order to provide 3rd grade students with the ability to develop healthy recipes for children at the Food Preparation Laboratory on Monday, December 9th between 14.00-17.45.

“Working at the Agency or at the Brand?”

The Digital Media and Marketing Program will bring students and industry representatives together to discuss the question “What awaits digital communicators on the agency and brand side? ”. The event, which Brands & Clicks Founder Yılmaz Mercan will have an interview titled “Working at the Agency or at the Brand?”, will be held on Tuesday, December 10 between 14.00-15.00 and will be hosted by İncirli Campus.

“The Present and Future of Digital Marketing”

In cooperation with the Public Relations and Publicity Program, Communication Arts Department and Department of New Media and Communication, will organise an interview titled “The Present and Future of Digital Marketing” to share the current situation to prepare students for the future. Digital Kalem Agency Chairman Özkan Özbey and Kağan Demirgil will be the speakers of the event, Tuesday, December 10 between 14.00-15.00 hours 2A-01 will take place in the amphitheater.

The Library and Documentation Department will organize “Karaoke” activity on the mezzanine floor Bodrum Library Study Hall on Thursday, December 11th between 19.00-21.00 in order to influence students' perceptions of the library in a positive way.

How to Prepare for KPSS

The Faculty of Education and PDR Club will organize an event titled “How to Prepare for KPSS?” in order to inform 3rd and 4th grade students about the preparation process for KPSS. Specialist Mehmet Gürer from PEGEM Educational Institutions will be the speaker, the event will take place on Tuesday, December 10 between 10.00-12.00 at the Basın Ekspres campus.

“Human Resources and Effective Communication”

The Department of Communication Arts and Communication Arts Club will organize an interview titled “Human Resources and Effective Communication” in order to inform students about effective communication. TAV Operation Services Human Resources Manager Gülşah Yüksel Aktolga will be the speaker, the event will take place on Tuesday, December 10 between 15.00-16.00 in Seminar Room 2.

“Creative Thinking in Business Life and Generating Ideas”

Communication Arts Club and the Department of Communication Arts will organize an interview titled “Creative Thinking in Business Life and Generating Ideas” in which students will be informed about the quality of creative thinking and generating different ideas in the sectoral dimension. Documentary Presentation

Steam Club will be presenting the documentary titled “Explained: Coding” at C Block Seminar Hall between 09.00-13.00 on 12-13 December 2019 in order to contribute to the general culture and English vocabulary of English Preparatory School students.

Professions of the Future Seminar Series IV - Data Science

International Trade Department continues to organize “Future Professions Seminar Series” in order to introduce future professions to our students. In the fourth of the seminar program, Dr. Kaan Öztürk from Boğaziçi University will be the guest of our university. Öztürk will inform our students about “Data Science”, and will be held on Thursday, December 12th between 11.00-13.00 in the Classroom L-04 of Basın Express Campus.

Neuropsychoanalysis

The Psychology Club will organize an event titled “Neuropsychoanalysis" to help students discover how they can use the concepts of psychoanalysis and neuroscience together. The event that Psychiatrist Assoc. Prof. Hakan Atalay from Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine Psychiatry M.S will be the speaker, will be held in Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on Thursday, December 12 between 11:00-13:00.

“Recognize Special Students ”Conference

The PDR Club and the Department of Educational Sciences will organize a conference titled “Recognize Special Students” to raise awareness for the students in need of special education. Dr. of Istanbul Aydin University. Dr. Mine Akkaynak from Istanbul Aydın University will be the speaker of the event, which will take place on Friday, December 13th between 09.00-16.00 in the Conference Hall of the Basın Express Campus.

Göztepe Semiha Şakir Children's House Visit

Culture Point will visit Göztepe Semiha Şakir Children's House between 14.00-17.00 on Thursday, December 12 with Turkish Sign Language class students in order to raise awareness of children in the Sevgi house.

The Institute of Graduate Studies will host the famous poet&writer Ferit Edgü, who is considered to be one of the values of the Republic, and important names including journalists, researchers and academics. IKUVENT will organize SEO Training for our students who are engaged in e-commerce, aiming to establish a website, and who are engaged in a job through search engine. Merih Pınar Birgi - Head of Human Resources Department

Merih Pınar Birgi was born in April 1974. Her Father was an officer, a national athlete, and a Cyprus Veteran and Her mother was a banker. I can say that she is a person who has come to an aristocratic family as a bride, who looks at life without losing her inner child among the rules and discipline, loves to touch people's lives without distinction between class, language and religion, is open-minded, has a high value of justice, dancing, singing and traveling.

The process of joining the Kültür Family started by Mrs. Defne’s who was the Head of Human Resources Department before me, calling when she found my CV with my university experience on kariyer.net. I met with Our Secretary General, Ender Rıza Ekici, Financial affairs Advisor Özkan Gül and President of the Board of Trustees Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver with the support of my husband. Later, I found myself as a part of this institution with the words of my wife, my family and my friends who are one of the oldest graduates of Kültür College saying that ‘’You should touch the Kültür Family which is a Kemalist family with your experience in the sector”.

I am a graduate of Marmara University Business Administration. After graduating from university, I completed my master's degree in Management and Organization at the same university. In 1996, I started to work in Eczacıbaşı Group. My thesis was Benchmarking Applications in Businesses. The community gave me the role of Benchmarking Team Leader alongside my Human Resources Specialist role. This task taught me the first lesson of my career, the importance of success as a team, and to thank every member of the team. She taught that you will be a manager by teaching and sharing information and not being focused on control by moving towards the same goal as the institution you work with, that you should live life by keeping the work in balance not only with work but with social life, and will develop systems with employees according to the corporate culture. She taught that by sharing the institution’s improvable aspects and taking precautions of them instead of papering over the crack, leads to success. And in this way, I left my mark by performing my works both in the institutions where I made restructuring works with my consultant identity and in the institutions where I was a professional manager.

The first impression that Istanbul Kültür University, which I started to work in as of September 2019, left me; -Giving an example from the past- In line with Atatürk's principles, we need to take further steps with the 60-year-long educational history of our academic-administrative staff and our management team. Istanbul Kültür University deserves to be in much better places both in our country and internationally. I was most impressed by the Olive Tree in the founding story. According to the ancient Greeks, the most important sign of coming from a holy family is to be born under an olive tree.I am both happy and proud of being a member of education-based Kültür Family which is established under the Olive Tree, a symbol of divinity, abundance, justice, health, pride, glory, prosperity, wisdom, reason, purification and rebirth.
