Istanbul Kültür University added a new one to its scientific projects and received approval for the project titled “Sustainable Awareness Creation and Development Study in the Context of Global Goals: The Case of Istanbul Kültür University”. This project will be carried out within the scope of our university's Scientific Research Projects (BAP) and aims to raise awareness about sustainability among students and the university community. The project is led by our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Burcu Yavuz Tiftikçigil, while the Dean of Students - Kültür Point and the Center for Sustainable Development are the project partners. The project aims to increase social awareness in the field of sustainability in line with the 17 Global Goals of the United Nations, and to raise awareness on this issue. With the events, seminars, podcasts, workshops, and awareness campaigns to be organised within the scope of the project, it is aimed to provide the students and academic staff of Istanbul Kültür University with an innovative perspective on sustainability. With these activities, which will emphasise issues such as global warming, climate change, efficient use of natural resources, and gender equality, our university will fulfil its social responsibility and raise awareness among students. With the contributions of all students, academic and administrative staff of Istanbul Kültür University, it is planned to take important steps towards creating a conscious society for a sustainable future. |
