Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ) participated in EIT's Deep Tech Talent Initiative. With Deep Tech Initiative membership; - Gaining international recognition by highlighting educational initiatives on the platform, - Being the first to get information about open deep technology calls of EIT and Knowledge and Innovation Communities and Pledge partners, - Taking advantage of the networking opportunities, - Being provided the chance to be included in international networks and project groups, - Getting to know more about best practices in deep technology education by joining Europe's first knowledge centre focused on deep technology education and skills development, - Having access to members-only services of the online platform. EIT's Deep Tech Talent Initiative not only offers courses but also contributes to the development of training that will help aid the careers of deep technology students. Those falling under the commitments reflect the diversity of organizations aspired to by the Deep Tech Talent Initiative. It is a combination of education providers, financial investors, businesses, and nonprofit and public sector partners who work together to help provide students with technology skills and the skills needed to translate that knowledge into solutions for the most pressing global challenges. The programs will be available for a wide range of students, from secondary to higher education as well as those seeking further professional development. EIT and its partners will also work to level the playing field for disadvantaged and underrepresented groups in technology and business, particular women. About the Deep Tech Talent Initiative: The European Institute of Innovation and Technology's (EIT) Deep Tech Talent Initiative will train one million Europeans in deep tech skills and entrepreneurship by 2025. To fulfil this goal, EIT will bring together its network and their new partners to develop trainings and courses in pioneering domains that will be at the forefront of the industries of the future. The long term goal is to increase the amount of European innovation created to tackle climate change, create new agricultural and food systems, build more liveable cities and more. EIT invites organizations interested in or operating in deep technology to join them in shaping and carrying out deep technology training programs by joining The Pledge.
