The live research launch titled "Web 3.0 World Z Report" based on user experience on the "Qankaland" platform, designed as a digital education platform by Istanbul Kültür University (IKU), was held on Wednesday, May 5, at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall. Developed by our university in 2022, Qankaland which relies on artificial intelligence aims to support high school students in their educational development. With this app, available for mobile devices, students can create a free account by selecting a user name and password and after creating their account, they can listen to the lectures, and communicate with their teachers and friends on an online platform. Our university aims to support high school students as they prepare for the university entrance exam with the "Qankaland" app developed in 2022. The web 3.0-based app, uniting students and teachers in a digital platform, is available to access for free. In the app, students can create their own characters, travel around an island, attend online classes, and communicate with their friends and teachers. They can ask the questions they cannot solve to the teachers and learn the answers. Launch of the "Qankaland" project, aiming to support education, was attended by IKU Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver, IKU Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yükseltepe, IKU Vice President of Department of Information Systems and Technologies who designed the app and IKU Software Development and Innovation Manager Ahmet Gökhan Uluçay, education content partner and Mathematics Teacher Vural Aksankur from the founding team of Hocalara Geldik, and many other teachers and students. IKU Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver noted that IKU focuses on popularizing web 3.0-based investments with reliable and noble projects at all levels of education. Dr. Akıngüç Günver encouraged young people to be participants in digital processes, not only as consumers but also as individuals who produce, develop and question in the web 3.0 platform. |
