The concert “27 Years After Zehra...”, organized to commemorate our world-famous soprano Zehra Yıldız and featuring many valuable artists, was held on Wednesday, December 11 at 19.00 at the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Centre in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy Campus. In the concert held in cooperation with the IKU Fine Arts Application and Research Centre and Zehra Yıldız Foundation of Culture and Arts, G. Donizetti's "L’elisir d’amore", "Aria Nemorino", "Una furtiva lagrima", F. Cilea's "L'Arlesiana", "Aria Federico", "E'la Solita storia del pastore" and W. A. Mozart’s "The Marriage of Figaro", "Aria Bartolo", "La vendetta, oh la vendetta!" pieces were performed with the piano accompaniment of Ozan Zencir. Ceren Aydın, (Soprano), Nesrin Gönüldağ (Mezzo), Seda Kırankaya (Mezzo), Caner Akın (Tenor), Suat Arıkan (Bass), Nazlıcan Karakaş (Soprano), Berna Yücel (Soprano), Fuat Kılıç Aslan (Tenor), Sinan Turan (Tenor), Emre Parlar (Tenor), Berke Tükenmez (Bass) performed at the concert. In this meaningful event, valuable artists and young talents came together to commemorate Zehra Yıldız in an unforgettable way. The audience gave the artists a standing ovation for a long time. At the end of the night, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Üstünipek, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design, presented a commemorative plate to Tenor Süha Yıldız, spouse of Zehra Yıldız, and the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Zehra Yıldız Foundation of Culture and Arts. |
