The fourth Aviation Summit, one of the prestigious organizations of Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ), was held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus. There was an intense participation in the event which brought together the leading professionals of the aviation industry. Experienced speakers from various branches of the industry contributed to the summit moderated by İKÜ Vocational School Civil Air Transportation Management Program Head Assist. Prof H. Neyir Tekeli and Flight Operations Management Program Head lecturer Evren Yılmaz. Çelebi Human Resources Director Gökçen Dervişoğlu, HAVAŞ Business Operations Manager Levent Küçüktoka and Jazeera Airways Captain Pilot Elif Güveyler shared their experiences and knowledge with the participants. At the summit, DHMI Air Traffic Controller Derya Özdemir, Loadmaster Mehmet Salih Baykın from ULS Airlines Cargo and Aircraft Technicians Association (UTED) Vice President Mehmet Murat Baştürk presented important information about aviation technicians. Turkish Airlines Head of Flight Training Captain Pilot Burak Bekman, expressed his views on flight training and safety. In addition, the summit, attended by Redstar Aviation Commercial Operations Manager Adnan Bölükbaş and Redstar Aviation Dispatch Manager Süleyman İshakbeyoğlu, enabled an expansion of information exchange in the field of commercial operations and management. Participants had the opportunity to gain knowledge from these skilled professionals who have experience in different areas of the industry.
