A symposium titled "Proceedings of the President: Legal Qualification, Norms Hierarchy Place and Supervision" was held on October 18-19, 2019, in cooperation with Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Law and the Platform of Public Lawyers.

In the symposium hosted by Istanbul Kültür University Ataköy Campus; In 2017, the constitutional amendment and the new regulations on the government system were handled in all dimensions.

The jury evaluation of the MEKAN 2019 Interior Architecture Students National Graduation Project Competition was held on 9 October 2019 at Istanbul Kültür University. 52 graduation projects which are attended to "MEKAN 2019", whis is opened to interior design bachelor's degree projects from Turkey and Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic, reviewed by; Professor Doctor Gülay Usta, Professor Doctor İnci Deniz Ilgın, Associate Professor Doctor Rana Kutlu, Associate Professor Doctor Özge Cordan, Designer Tanju Özelgin, Interior Architect Jale Kulin, Interior Architect Gönül Ardal, Doctor Lecturer Handan Güzelci and Master Architect Ali Kemal Terlemez.

MEKAN 2019 Interior Architecture Students Graduation Project Competition Colloquium - Award Ceremony and Exhibition Opening will be held at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall at Ataköy Campus of İstanbul Kültür University on Wednesday, November 13th.

On 23 October 2019, Istanbul Kültür University-affiliated Global Political Trends Center (GPoT) and Marmara University-affiliated Research Center For International Relations (MURCIR) organized a workshop titled “Regional Studies in Turkey”. Prof. Dr. Faruk Sönmezoğlu, who was the guest of honour, addressed the transformations of the regional studies from the historical perspectives to the present. Representing both institutions, Zuhal Mert Uzuner and Mensur Akgün addressed opening speeches. The workshop was held in three sessions respectively; “Regional Studies and Theoretical Perspectives”, “Global Powers and Regional Studies” and “Regional Studies and Turkey”. Eventually, the meeting ended with a general evaluation and participants' mutual criticism, exchange of views and opinions. 

Student of New Media and Communication Department visited the exhibition “Child in Me” that consist of works by Ömer M. Koç collection within 16th Istanbul Biennial Parallel Event Program on Thursday 17th October.

On the tour that was organized by the Departments of New Media and Communication and Cartoon and Animation, department instructors guide the students. The students that came to see the exhibition which include more than 100 works of nearly 60 artists from Turkey and the world in Abdülmecid Efendi Mansion that is one of the most important buildings of the Ottoman Empire. At this exhibition, students had a chance to analyze artworks from many disciplines from 17th century until today.

Beyza Bozkurt, Social Media Specialist of Louder Branding Storytellling Agency was the guest of the event organized by New Media and Communication Club.

The New Media and Communication Club held an interview titled “Digital Advertising and Social Media Management at Erdal İnönü Seminar Hall on Tuesday, October 22nd. Beyza Bozkurt, Social Media Specialist at Louder Branding Storytellling Agency, spoke at the event and discussed the panels used in social media management by addressing the issues of digital advertising and social media. The interview where Bozkurt conveyed her sectoral experiences to our students through examples ended with question and answers.

Department of Civil Engineering Geotechnic Master’s Degree Program, organised a technichal trip to İstanbul Muncipality Anatolian Side Directorate of Railway Systems Göztepe-Ataşehir-Ümraniye (M12) Metroline, Finanskent and Ataşehir station working field within the scope of “Superficial Foundations and Fillings” and “Deep Foundations and Retaining Structures” courses.

After the Occupational Health and Safety training, our students were first informed by the supervisor about shaft manufacturing at Finanskent station. Afterwards, technical details about the S65-Φ6-56 m EPB TBM machine used along the line were explained by the Chief of CPC. After examining the details of the tunnel section manufactured by NATM method, our students got information about blasting process in tube tunnels in the direction of Ümraniye. Taking into consideration the negative situations that may occur during the blasting process, the students were removed from the area and examined the condition of the tube tunnels after the blasting process with video recordings and visuals.

Istanbul Kültür University will celebrate the October 29 Republic Day with a ceremony. The program, which will start with the National Anthem at 10:00 at the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center on Monday, October 28, will be performed by IKU Polyphonic Choir performance. Lecturer of Law Faculty Ceren Yildiz will continue with the conference titled “Legal Revolutions and the Republic”.The ceremony will end with the performances of our Theater and Dance clubs.

 Istanbul Kültür University Art Gallery (IKUSAG) will present the group exhibition “Threshold of Modernity - Lignum” to the art lovers in the second exhibition of the 2019-2020 art season. The exhibition within the 16th Istanbul Biennial Parallel Event Program will be opened on Wednesday 30th October at 15:00.The exhibition, which includes works of Hakkı Anlı, Ayhan Türker, Eşref Üren, Eren Eyüboğlu, Naci Kalmukoğlu, Fahrelnissa Zeid, Hoca Ali Rıza, Kadri Aytolon, can be visited until 27 November 2019.

In cooperation with the Civil Aviation and Cabin Services Program and the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Application and Research Center, the students will organize the "Psychological Resilience Seminar" in the Aviation Sector in order to provide the students with the psychological endurance they need.The seminar to be given by the psychologist Alev Yıldırım will be hosted by İncirli Campus on Thursday, October 31st between 15.00-16.00.

The New Media and Communication Department and Cinema and Television Department will organize an interview titled “Virtual Reality: New Approaches in Documentary and Memory’’ to illustrate the importance of virtual reality applications in the documentary production process in today's digital world. The event which Director Deniz Tortum and Lecturer Esen Kunt will be the speakers, will be held by Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on Wednesday, October 30th between 13.00-15.00.

I was born in 1990 in Istanbul. I am married and have a child. In 2009, I started to work in the education sector, which I entered as the Public Relations Officer at the Bakırköy Final Magazine classroom, since 2012, I had the opportunity to continue at the Department of Student Affairs of Istanbul Kültür University.
