The interview with Design Factory Manager Ahmet Gökhan Uluçay and our students about Istanbul Kültür University Design Factory, which was established for our students to gain experience after graduation in addition to the education they received at the university, was published on the Hürriyet news portal with the title "This is the 'Design Factory'"

Since 2016, Istanbul International Invention Fair (ISIF) has been organized to contribute to the promotion and commercialization of domestic inventions. This fair is held every year within the scope of TEKNOFEST and attracts attention as the world's largest space, aviation and technology festival. Over the past 8 years, more than 5,500 inventions from 62 countries have been exhibited and an average of one million visitors have been hosted.
This year, the 9th International Invention Fair (ISIF 24) will be held at Adana Şakir Paşa Airport between 02-06 October 2024 and will be carried out under the auspices of the T.R. Ministry of Industry and Technology and with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the International Federation of Inventors' Association (IFIA). At the fair, the Patent Appointment System will be implemented, inventions will be rewarded and the opportunity to meet with investment group representatives will be provided. Additionally, information will be given about the 4th Patent Türkiye Universities Invention Competition. Within the scope of ISIF Fair, the aim is to increase patent awareness in universities and the number of domestic patent applications. Within the scope of the MIND4MACHINES project coordinated by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, the “Innovation and Collaboration Day: Digital and Industry Project Market” event is organized in cooperation with the European Business Network and TÜBİTAK EU Framework Program Directorate.
This event aims to foster new project partnerships between entrepreneurs, technology developers, manufacturing companies, academia and other stakeholders for the Horizon Europe Cluster 4: Digital, Industry and Space, European Innovation Council (EIC) and European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) calls.

KOSGEB and TÜBİTAK signed a protocol to strengthen the technology and innovative entrepreneurship ecosystem in Türkiye.

At the ceremony organized with the participation of Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, KOSGEB President A. Serdar İbrahimcioğlu and TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal signed the protocol.

The protocol aims to enable SMEs to benefit more effectively from the support of both institutions and increase their R&D capacities. In addition, KOSGEB's TEKMER operator organizations will be encouraged to participate in TÜBİTAK's BiGG call and additional points will be given to successful projects. More SMEs will be reached through joint information and guidance activities.
