We Are More Creative Than We Thought We Might Be
 

We are closer to creativity than we think, especially in the days we live, where there are “boredom”, limited and similar days. Because individuals are closer to themselves and their inner worlds. According to experts, some common features of creative children are listed as follows:

Free Thinking: Playing with thoughts. While it can sometimes be seen as discipline and lack of target, it is one of the features that must be possessed for creativity.

Easily Fooled: Creative semi-mature children can easily get excited about ideas and can see the background and disruptions seen in adults.

Dreaming: Some children seem useful in learning and problem solving, while others can show themselves as carelessness and thoughtfulness.

Loneliness: Sometimes creative thoughts arise when alone.

Being Active: Ideas often come when "not doing anything". But once that idea comes up, the child is completely active now. These tides, which seem like a transition from laziness to extreme action, can be a confusing and difficult task for other people.
What Can I Do to Support My Child's Creativity?
 

- Right now, make room for your kids for some “boredom.” Increasing the use of phones, tablets, and computers because of not being disgruntled, distracted, or being at home all day long are the last situations we will need in the long run.

- You can play “what happens?”. Ask your children some questions like, “What would happen if the car hadn't been invented? How did we get this much work? What if we were in a wagon while it was raining rain from the glass? What would we do?”

- Children like to imitate others. You can ask them to express their thoughts about a writer, poet, thinker, novel character, about that particular person’s life, thoughts, works, and then imitating that particular person by putting themselves in that particular person’s place. They can wear clothes using their toys, costumes, or use an item for a different purpose.

- Old magazines, brochures, old sheets can become a treasure that will turn into creative ideas. You can create your own home newspaper by cutting out letters. You can produce new items from old clothes.

- Create your own lyrics to a song. Say improvised together.

- Draw the top view of your home.

- Draw a picture of each other.

- Play story-making games.

- Open a discussion topic and express your family ideas. “What should we do to be more helpful to each other? What topics can people help each other?”

- You can chat on proverbs and idioms.

- Encourage your children to experiment and research.

- You should definitely praise your children's efforts, whether they get results or not. You should be careful that this is not an empty praise.

- Keeping your own curiosity, enthusiasm and “crazy” ideas alive supports your children's need to be different and gives you the opportunity to set an example for it. You can set an example for them to use their creativity better with your attitude and words.

“Execution Arrangement” E-Seminar
 

The Cultural Values Conservation Club organized an e-seminar titled “Enforcement Arrangement” on Friday, May 1, between 21.00-23.00, with the lawyer Mehmet Zengin and Lawyer Furkan Akbulut. The students were informed about the amendment to the Law on the Execution of Penalties, which was published and published in the official newspaper. The old and current version of the law, its applicability and functionality; our guests were transferred to the club members, most of whom were Faculty of Law students, in detail. Sevcan Kırışak, a member of the Board of Directors and one of the senior students of the Faculty of Law, moderated the event held through the Instagram account of the Cultural Values Conservation Club.
 
"12th Decision Support Systems Symposium”
 

İstanbul Kültür University Industrial Engineering Club held the "12th Organized the Decision Support Systems Symposium. The event where KodKamp Founder Trainer Writer Zafer Demirkol, Analytics Manager Neliha Murat, Consultant & Writer İnan Acılıoğlu and Big Data Architect Co-Founder Zekeriya Beşiroğlu were the speakers, was held through the Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application. In the symposium where the subject of “Artificial Intelligence and Big Data” was discussed, information was exchanged with speakers from various companies. Our students had the chance to network with the experts who attended the event.

Developments in Turkey

Republic of Turkey Presidency;

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in a statement after the Cabinet Meeting;

- Erdoğan, recalling the measures taken in the fight against the epidemic;

1) Support programs are prepared for all the groups affected by the measures taken, and the amount of financing and social support packages exceeds 200 billion liras,
2) The amount of donations made so far to the” We are Enough for us Turkey " campaign has reached 1 billion 910 million liras,
3) Nearly 65 thousand citizens were brought to our country with the established airline bridges,

4) He stated that medical supplies were provided to 57 countries.

- Nothing will return to the 'normal' order that we used to know in our country as well as in the whole world,

- Some of the limitations will continue, albeit by reducing.

- The gradual easing of the restrictions will be made by spreading the regulations in May, June and July in general,

- The Ministry of Health has started to prepare guidebooks on epidemic measures to be implemented in the normalization process in all sectors and send them to relevant institutions,

- A group of people over the age of 65 will be allowed to go out on one of the curfew limitation days and for four hours, limited by walking distance, the first application will take place between 11.00-15.00 on Sunday, May 10,

- For those under 20, this easing will be implemented in two groups; 0-14 age group can go out on Wednesday, May 13, and 15-20 age group will go out on Friday, May 15, on the same terms and hours,

- The application of single-double license plates for commercial taxis in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir will be terminated by 5 May,

- Provided that the necessary rules are followed, shopping centers, shops, barbershops, hairdressers and beauty salons can start to serve from 11 May.

- The central examination within the scope of the High School Pass System will be held on 20 June 2020,
- Within the scope of pandemic measures;
1) This year, for the first time, students will take their exams in their own schools so that they can easily access the exam buildings,

2) Considering that the canteens will not be open in the school, students will be able to bring the water, disinfectant and napkin they will need,

3) At the entrance of the school, hand disinfectant will be applied to the students, parents and all staff working in the exam, and a mask will be distributed free of charge,
