These are just four adjectives that have become the names of today's world. Maybe they are the concepts that we should use as the cornerstones of the new business strategies to be created.

If we look at it one by one, our environment is constantly changing in today's business life. Variability  directly affect  the efficiency of the  forecasting mechanisms, and quick adaptation to changing conditions is required.

We are in the days when we have a hard time seeing the future. What is waiting for us tomorrow is uncertain, projects and strategic planning are delayed or canceled.

The complexities in the data or situations make causality analysis very difficult and it cannot be predicted which factor triggers what.

All sectors are in similar situations. There is an effective ambiguity and in this context, the data cannot be analyzed correctly and leads to failures.

The factors that will ensure success in the VUCA world go through planning, speed, adaptation and trust.

- We should be able to create accurate and effective plans.
- We must be able to adapt and decide quickly under the changing conditions.
- We should avoid damaging the feeling of trust in all our stakeholders.
- In addition, Adaptive Leadership comes to the fore for the right strategy and success.

Adaptive Leaders should be able to make accurate plans, make quick decisions, adapt to changing conditions and create a sense of trust in those under their responsibility. They should pay attention to emotional intelligence as well as the competencies of the employee. Just as they are aware of their own emotions, they also must be aware of the emotions of the people around them. They should try to find solutions to the negative feelings of the employees in the following process. Never and ever they should cause emotions such as anxiety and anxiety in employees. Facts should not be avoided in order not to cause anxiety. The right direction must be made by skillfully blending the facts with what people want to hear. “Corporate Justice” should be ensured in these days when the facts are not very pleasant. Since resource sharing or layoffs are common today, transparency and trust must be ensured. In addition, Adaptive Leaders should support the development of all employees, including themselves. In technology investments, user performance also directly affects the quality of the process as well as the preferred product quality. For example; If employees do not know how to use a newly purchased software / hardware, errors are made constantly. Giving importance to the development of employees is a must in this process.

Another problem that needs to be solved is how the working order will be these days. There are 2 alternatives in the new working order. The first is to continue work by coming to workplaces. The second is to work from home. Working from home is the choice that is preferred by most of people, but in both alternatives it is necessary to achieve quality and keep efficiency at the highest level.

- The right working areas (noiseless environment, desk, armchair etc.) should be created for the employees and all necessary resources (business phone, computer, internet etc.) must be provided.

- The person and the institution should be accessible. Employees should be able to communicate with each other easily during working hours and at the same time be able to access the documents needed.

- Synchronous and asynchronous communication methods (Video conference, online meeting, mail, telephone conversation, chat pools, etc.) must be defined and the requirements for the participation of employees must be met.

- The daily activities of the employees should be determined regularly by him or his manager. Weekly or daily business plans should be created and approved.

- While making business plans, care should be taken not to exceed working hours.

- It is important that employees can do more than they spend at the computer. Therefore, flexible working hours should be applied. The fulfilment of the given tasks in a complete and timely manner should be the main criteria. It should not be ignored in what time zone of the day.

- It should be understood that the flexible working hour application is not continuous work, and the workload of the employee should be considered as his usual daily work.

- Working hours must be determined for support staff (Call Center, IT support staff etc.) and all employees must comply with these hours. For example; between 08.30-18.00, a planning such as 45 minutes working, 15 minutes break and 12.00-13.00 break at noon should be made and everyone should comply. It is not enough for only relevant employees to comply. Out-of-calendar support requests determined without empathy increase the workload of the support staff and decrease the efficiency.

And in this new process to ensure the quality of work life:

- First of all, it should not be forgotten that the health of the employees is the most important criterion. And all plans should be made accordingly.

- All employees should be given regular training or similar information about healthy living and the rules to be followed.

- Emergency action plans should be determined.

- When suspicious or positive cases are detected, people who are contacted directly or indirectly should be directed to the relevant health institutions, they should be allowed to work for at least 14 days at home, including the case is not positive, and work should be interrupted in the relevant areas until the contact areas are disinfected.

- Age, chronic ailments, etc. determined by the powers. criteria must be fully complied with. Employees who have been in hospitals or similar hazards must work from home for 14 days.

- Employees who have traveled even after the domestic and international transportation ban has been lifted, must work from home for 14 days with the base to start the day after the end of the travel.

- Social distance rule (1.5 m) should be followed and collective stopping in common areas should be prohibited.

- The person (s) who intentionally endanger the health of himself and other workers should be punished. The penalty must be clearly defined.

- Entries and exits to the workplaces (campus, building, office etc.) must be made one by one.

- At each entrance made from outside, the person's fire should be measured on the condition that it is in a closed area (measurements made in the open area give an erroneous result), and if possible, the person's clothes and belongings such as bags should be disinfected. Accordingly, Disinfection Cabinets, which are started to be sold in the market, can be provided. It may be provided that the person entering brings separate shoes or clothing for the workplace. All clothes used at work can be taken out in a controlled manner only for cleaning and not being used. This and similar measures need to be taken.

- Refreshments such as tea and coffee should not be made. Vending machines should be used. Access to tea rooms and kitchens should be prohibited, except in compulsory cases.

- The use of materials, such as copiers, vending machines, disinfectants or colognes, which are open to common use, must be provided by a staff member.

- The work places should be constantly ventilated. Air conditioners and similar ventilation devices should not be operated. Ventilation of workplaces should be provided with doors and windows open. Working areas without glass and ventilation systems should be divided into isolated sections and working order should be provided not to exceed one person.

- Entries and exits should be arranged to prevent crowding during working hours. (For example; entrance between 09.30-10.30, exit between 15.30-16.30). Entries and exits should be within certain time intervals so that their accumulation can be prevented. It should be ensured that employees do not perceive this as the start of work at 10.30 and the end of work at 15.30. Accordingly, the units' own overtime and start and end time intervals should be determined.
- Public transport or other journeys should be minimized as much as possible. Service opportunities that provide social distance for employees can be created or financial support should be provided to increase the use of personal vehicles.

First of all, I am not a healthcare worker. I would like to point out that the above items can be reproduced and improved, but not just my personal ideas. I have benefited from experts and related documents published. I think that it will increase the quality of working life by keeping up with the new order with what I have written and similar applications. I hope that we can survive this difficult period with the least loss and I wish everyone a healthy day.
