Istanbul Kültür University 2023-2024 Graduation Ceremony

Dear Graduates and Graduate Relatives, 

Our Graduation Ceremonies, which you have been anticipating eagerly, will be held in four sessions on 2-3 July 2024 at Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Performing Arts Center.

  • Ceremony attendance applications will be made online.
  • The names of graduates who do not apply online will not be reflected on the screen during the ceremony.
  • Deadline for application: Wednesday, 26 June 2024

Date of distribution of Cap-Academic Robe:

Distribution Dates 
Start        : Monday, June 24, 2024 
End        : Monday, July 01, 2024 (Until the end of working hours.) 
Working Hours        : 10.00-17.00 
Distribution Place        : Ataköy Campus B1 Floor INNside 

*Delivery will only be made during weekday working hours.

  • The cost of the cap is 150 TL
  • The cost of the robe is 500 TL
  • Cap and gown fees will be paid only by credit or debit card at the distribution point at INNside, B1 Floor, located in İKÜ Ataköy Campus. 
  • Relatives of our graduates who cannot come to Ataköy Campus will be able to provide caps and gowns. 
  • The cap belongs to the graduate and cannot be returned. 
  • Our graduates who want to return their robes must apply to the Goods Unit Warehouse between 4-19 July 2024 with the Pos Slip given to them during payment. 
  • Before returning the gown, you must fill out the return form at iade.iku.edu.tr
  • The rental fees of our graduates who complete the refund procedures will be deposited into their bank accounts between 22 July and 2 August 2024.

Important: We kindly request you not to lose your Pos Slip, otherwise we would like to inform you that the gown fees cannot be refunded. 

 

Zümrüt Photography will establish a studio between 24 June - 01 July 2024 for our graduates who want to have their professional graduation photos taken in our Ataköy Campus with their caps and gowns.

  • Our graduates must be present at the Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Performing Arts Center at least one hour before the ceremony time specified for faculties and vocational schools.

FOR GRADUATE RELATIVES:  

  • Relatives of graduates will be admitted to the hall one hour before the start of the ceremony.
  • We kindly ask you to comply with the seating arrangement specified, and that the relatives of the graduates do not go out of the sections reserved for them during the ceremony.
  • On the day of the ceremony, the stage will only be available to our graduates and organizers.
  • For the security of the ceremony area, we kindly ask you to comply with the warnings and directions of the security personnel at the entrance and exit of the hall.
  • Buffets in Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Performing Arts Center will serve for food and beverage needs. The bathrooms will be available for use during the ceremony.
  • To avoid technical and visual disruptions in the flow of the ceremony, we kindly request that photo shoots that will cause our graduates to go out of the hall should be done after the cap throwing ceremony.

To reach to Yahya Kemal Beyatlı Performing Arts Center, you could use;

  • HT1 K.S. Süleyman Hospital-Üçyüzlü Metro, 79G Kayaşehir-Zeytinburnu Metro and 89YB K.S.S. Hospital/Atakent-Bakırköy bus lines and get off at the Asura Square bus stop.
  • A-49 Kayabaşı Yolu-Yenibosna Metro, A-215 İstoç 8 Ada-Sefaköy Last Stop minibus lines and get off in front of the show center.

There is no parking in the ceremony area.
