Zeynep Nida Bulut, a student of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at Istanbul Kültür University, has wanted to become an architect since childhood. However, she had to postpone her dream due to a traffic accident she had 4 years ago during the gap semester of the first grade. Zeynep, who had to continue living her life with the aid of a wheelchair due to a broken spine, returned to her school with a decision she made last year.

With the protocol signed between Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) and Istanbul Energy Inc, a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), careers continue to be shaped by providing students with vocational education competencies within the scope of the "Vocational Education Framework Regulation in Higher Education Institutions".

The 23rd International Psychological Counseling and Guidance Congress, organized with the cooperation of the Turkish Psychological Counseling and Guidance Association and Istanbul Kültür University (IKU), was held at Akıngüç Auditorium and Cultural Center on 13-15 June with the theme of 'Psychological Counseling and Guidance for Sustainable Development'.

The "10th SMEs and Productivity Congress" was held as a hybrid in Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on 9-10 June 2022 in cooperation with IKU Department of Business Administration and Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Support Administration (KOSGEB).

The book of the VI. International Turkish Language and Literature Student Congress, which was held online via Adobe Connect on 13-16 June 2021 within the body of our Istanbul Kültür University Department of Turkish Language and Literature, has been published electronically. A meeting was held on the ZOOM platform on Friday, June 3, 2022, with the participations of IKU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Acting Dean Prof. Dr. Müge Çetiner, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilek Ünalan from IKU Department of International Trade and Finance, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection Department Waste Management Directorate, Climate Change Branch Directorate, and Istanbul Planning Agency (IPA) officials.

The third award ceremony of the Start-Up Festival Idea Competition, organized by the Department of Entrepreneurship since 2019, was held at the Basın Express Campus Conference Hall on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

Department of Communication Arts students prepared a communication campaign for Edis, one of the most successful artists of the recent periods. Within the scope of the "Communication Strategies" course, which has prepared communication campaigns for many successful businesspeople and artists such as Ali Sabancı, Ali Sunal, Cem Hakko, Demet Akbağ, Murat Ülker, Meltem Cumbul, Ümit Boyner, our students carried out an extensive work for the artist Edis under the leadership of the Lecturer Berna Sağlam Naipoğlu.

In cooperation with the Student Life, Career and Alumni Advisory Unit (Kültür Point) and Orchestra IKU, the event “IKU YOUTH FEST’22” dedicated to the “May 19 the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, and the 25th anniversary of the foundation of our university, was held on May 17-18, 2022, in the backyard of Ataköy Campus.
