Our Faculty of Engineering academician Prof. Dr. Nihal Sarıer (IKU) and Prof. Dr. Emel Önder Karaoğlu (ITU, Faculty of Textile Technologies and Design)'s second international patent titled "WEBS WITH COAXIAL NANOFIBER STRUCTURE, A TEXTILE PRODUCT CONTAINING THESE WEBS AND A PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF (KOAKSİYEL NANOLİF YAPILI AĞLAR, BU AĞLARI İÇEREN BİR TEKSTİL ÜRÜNÜ VE HAZIRLANMA YÖNTEMİ)” was registered by the UK Patent Office on 15.05.2024 with the number GB2597373.

Istanbul Kültür University Turkish Sign Language Choir made the audience experience an unforgettable night with the concert held at Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Centre on Friday, May 10.  This special event, which blended music and sign language, gave the audience not only emotional moments but also a visual feast.

The IKU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Burcu Yavuz Tiftikçigil attended the "Global Sustainable Development Congress" held in Thailand between 10-13 June 2024, on the behalf of IKU.

The congress hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand was attended by representatives from higher education, government, business and civil society for a sustainable future. The congress, in which sustainable development were discussed in great depth, brought together three thousand Global thinking leaders.
