Zionist Union lawmaker: It has been a long time since an MK appeared officially in Turkey

In a sign of improving government ties, an Israeli and a Turkish think tank are set to hold a joint event in Istanbul with an MK and a Turkish Foreign Ministry official.

MK Ksenia Svetlova (Zionist Union), who is to participate in Friday’s session with Turkish Foreign Ministry official Mesut Ozcan, told The Jerusalem Post that “it has been a long time since an MK appeared officially and publicly in Turkey.”

Conference at Ruhr University Bochum: "A Player and not just a Payer?" The Work of German Political Foundations Abroad

GPoT Center’s Muhammed Ammash participated in a conference at the Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, entitled “A Player and not Just a Player? the Work of German Political Foundations abroad”.

The conference’s special focus was on Israel and the Palestinian territories. Participants discussed the role German political foundations play in the international arena, their impact on German foreign policy, and how they influence the development of bilateral relations.

Networking Workshop between Turkish and Greek NGOs

GPoT Center’s Prof. Mensur Akgün, Dr. Sylvia Tiryaki, and Muhammed Ammash, participated in the networking workshop held in Athens. The workshop is part of the project entitled ”Migration Network in Europe and Turkey”. 

”Migration Network in Europe and Turkey” is supported under the Civil Society Dialogue Programme. The Programme aims to bring together civil society organisations from Turkey and the EU around common topics, to exchange knowledge and experience, and to build a sustained conversation among them.
