GPoT Center's project officers, Sofia Hafdell and Mehmet Akgöz together with intern Omar Sheira hosted 50 students from The Sct. Knuds Gymnasium, located in Denmark. They presented on EU-Turkey relations, Turkish foreign policy in the MENA region, and current domestic developments in Turkey.

Commemorating Amb. Suna Çokgür Ilıcak, GPoT Center, in collaboration with the Center for Strategic Research (SAM) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, and the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences (FSES) of the Comenius University in Bratislava, organized the second panel discussion held in her memory on 6 March 2014.
Hopefully, commentators arguing that the Crimean Peninsula’s case is different from those of Abkhazia and Ossetia will be proven right. Hopefully, Ukraine will not split in two and those involved in the argument will soon find modus vivendi.
