Our Head of the Department of Nursing Prof. Dr. Asiye Gül and Assist. Prof.  Mukaddes Turan Miral and Res. Assist. Cennet Kara Özçalık, visited the Darülaceze Presidency. Our faculty members from the Department of Nursing, who had a meeting with the Head of the Darülaceze, Master Architect Hamza Cebeci, signed a cooperation protocol with the Darülaceze on applied courses/internships. Under the cooperation, our students were given the opportunity to undergo their internship for the "Public Health Nursing" course in the Fall Semester of 2022-2023.

Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver paid a visit to the construction of the “Design Factory”, supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA), which is near completion, on Monday, August 22. The KUASAR Team, which is a member of the IEEE Club and made up of the students of our university participating in the world's largest Aviation, Space and Technology Festival’s competition in the category of "Barrier-Free Living Technologies" in the Black Sea of ​​TEKNOFEST, which will be held in Samsun between August 30 – September 4, 2022, will participate in the K-ROD Smart Walking Stick Project. They exhibited their work in the final stage of the competition, which was held in Trabzon between 5 -7 August 2022 and passed the jury’s assessment successfully.

To the competitions partaking in “TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival,” which is held under the leadership of Turkish Technology Team Foundation and TR Ministry of Industry and Technology, and with the support of Türkiye’s leading technology companies, public institutions, media organizations and universities, more than 149 thousand teams and more than 500 thousand competitors applied this year.

As a result of the application to the European Commission, in addition to the 265 thousand Euros we received from the European Commission, our university has been entitled to receive 84 thousand Euros grant support to realize the exchange of university students, academic and administrative personnel in the period of Erasmus+ KA171 2022 Call for Proposals with partner universities in Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Morocco, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, South Africa, Kenya, Cameroon, Nigeria and Bangladesh.

Our Rector hosted the members of the Board of Directors of the Association of Women Academics (TÜRKKAB) in her office. At the meeting held on Tuesday, August 9, an agreement was made that our university would contribute and support all kinds of activities of the association.

İstanbul Kültür University Vocational School Program of Fashion Design 1st year students’ “Basic Design” lecture project “Fabric Manipulation” was exhibited between 25th of May and 8th of June, at Ataköy campus.

Noting that the educational sciences are developing and gaining importance more and more, and the time allotted to education and its works are increasing, Assist.
