A book presentation event titled "A Gift to Prof. Dr. Mehmet Fatih Köksal" was organized by the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Istanbul Kültür University. A Gift Book was presented to Mehmet Fatih Köksal, Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, at the event held in Ataköy Campus Seminar Hall 2 on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 14:00.

There were meetings held in various subjects in order to realize a collaboration between Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Architecture and Fatih Municipality. The process which has started with the visitation of Fatih Municipality to IKU Faculty of Architecture on January 19, 2022 regarding the Istanbul Historical Peninsula, continues thrivingly.

The award ceremony of the Student Competition for the Public Open Spaces Idea Project at MODOKO, held among the students of the Faculty of Architecture, was held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at MODOKO.

The labour force contract between Istanbul Kültür University and Deutsche Management Akademie Niedersachsen (DMAN) (Lower Saxony German Management Academy) is signed in the ceremony in which Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver, Head of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Dr. hc. Mult.

The Academic Board of Department of Architecture is held with the participation of our rector on January 12, 2022, Wednesday at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall. After the presentation of the dean of our faculty Prof. Dr. Neslihan Dostoğlu which evaluated the faculty since its establishment and the covered the problems and future goals, the opinions and suggestions of academics of Department of Architecture and Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design are evaluated by our Rector.

As part of the fight against COVID-19, "COVID-19", "Chemical Definition", "Color Code", "Zero Waste Management" and "Recycling" trainings were given to our cleaning personnel on Saturday, January 8, by the Support Services Department.

"Scientific Research Projects and Graduate Thesis Projects Information Meeting" was held by the Technology and Project Support Unit (TPDB) for all academic staff of our university via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. At the meeting opened by our Vice Rector and Head of TPDB Unit Prof. Dr. Sinan Alçın; Scientific Research Projects Coordinator & TPDB Executive Secretary Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız made an informative presentation on the writing, execution and conclusion of the projects.

The 4th issue (WINTER 2021) of the "KÜLTÜRK" Turkish Language and Literature Researches Journal, published within the body of Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department of Turkish Language and Literature, was published on 27 December 2021.
