A 30% discount agreement has been signed between Private Ataköy Hospital, Private Family Hospital and our University, which will be valid for 1 year as of October 08, 2021, for our students, academic/administrative staff and their first degree relatives.
Within the scope of the agreement;
Istanbul Kültür University Art Gallery (IKUSAG) hosted Dutch artists living in Turkey in the second exhibition of the 2021-2022 Art Season. Dutch artist Arjen Zwart's photographs from the streets of Istanbul, Jeroen Paalvast's drawings of Turkish projections, and Koenraad Marinus van Lier's oil paintings, mosaic and limestone works are at the “Dutch Diaries in Turkey” exhibition, which opened on Wednesday, November 17 at 15.00. In addition to his sculptures, there are also video works of three artists.
A discount agreement has been signed between Istanbul Kültür University and Biruni University Hospital, which will be valid for one year as of November 01, 2021.
Within the framework of the agreement, a 25% discount will be applied to all our employees and their first degree relatives within the scope of current service fees and SGK difference fees in return for the services they will receive from Biruni University Hospital.

Istanbul Art and Antiques Fair, sponsored by Istanbul Kültür University, which enabled our country to reach an important point in the field of culture and art while representing our country on the international platform; It was the meeting point of art lovers at the Istanbul Congress Center between 4-7 November. Visited by 28,500 people, the Istanbul Art and Antique Fair hosted 10 thousand antique objects from 80 antique shops, more than 300 artists from 42 art galleries, and 2 thousand works of art in an area of approximately 15 thousand square meters for 4 days.
The introductory seminar of the Program of Germany Career and Workforce, which was initiated in cooperation with the European Career and Workforce Unit of Istanbul Kültür University and the Lower Saxony German Management Academy, was held on Thursday, November 4 at 14.00 at the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center. Opening speeches of the seminar held open to vocational school and university graduates from all over Turkey; Lower Saxony German Management Academy Director Herald Becker and Germany Istanbul Consul General BJohannes Regenbrecht.
Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) commemorated the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk on the 83rd anniversary of his passing.
Our Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Bahar Akıngüç Günver, and our Rector, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sinan Alçın, academic-administrative staff and students attended.
The commemoration program started on Wednesday, November 10 at 09:05 with the laying of a wreath, a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem on the Atatürk bust in the front garden of Ataköy campus.
Many artists and works met with art lovers at the Istanbul Art and Antique Fair, which was held at the Istanbul Congress Center between 4-7 November. Artist Assoc. Prof. Reyhan Uludağ, one of the academicians of the Department of Art and Culture Management and the Director of IKU Art Gallery, presented 15 works with the theme of “Urban Transformation” to art lovers at the Istanbul Art and Antique Fair.
Asst. Prof. Nazan Çağlar Director of Istanbul Kültür University Family Businesses and Entrepreneurship Application and Research Center (AGMER), and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Ali Şen, visited Tekin Urhan, Chairperson of the Board of the Turkish Family Business Association (TAIDER).
During the visit, which was held on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, the issues of updating the previously signed protocol between Istanbul Kültür University and TAIDER were discussed, as well as existing collaborations.
In line with our mission (to provide a qualified education that nurtures the talents that will shape the future and to increase scientific, artistic and cultural activities) and vision (to be a university with national and international reputation in teaching, scientific research and community service) in the Strategic Plan of Istanbul Kültür University, the "Innovation Group" was formed in October with the voluntary participation of our academic and administrative staff.
Istanbul Kültür University Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center opened the new season with the play Plastik Aşklar, staged by Oya Başar and Ebru Kural, on 2 November at 19.00. In the play, where master theater actors Oya Başar and Ebru Kural shared the stage, theatergoers had a night of laughter. Başar and Kural were presented with flowers for their successful performance at the end of the game and the pleasant night they gave to the people of Kültür.
