Narod Maraşlıyan from GPoT Center attended the "Building the Future of Cyprus: Multi-Stakeholder Strategic Planning Forum", organized by the Institute for Eurodemocracy, CES & PATRIR-IPDTC between the 2nd and 3rd of December, 2011.

Participants from different sectors and agencies took part in the event, in which they conducted a joint exploration of key dimensions, dynamics, issues and opportunities on the Cyprus Conflict. The event took place at the Cyprus Community Media Centre (CCMC) in the buffer zone.

Wall Street Protests and Globalization by Onur Bayramoğlu | Görüş Magazine

Onur Bayramoğlu's article on "Wall Street Protests and Globalization" was published on the 71st edition of TÜSİAD's Görüş Magazine. The article explores the reasons for the protests, focusing on issues such as international financial system, globalization and technology, and inconsistencies within the global education system and upward mobility.

Turkish Journalists in Armenia

GPoT Center, in collaboration with Internews Armenia, brought 4 Turkish journalists to Yerevan between November 20th and 24th, 2011. The journalism exchange was part of the "Dialogue-Building Between Turkey and Armenia" project.

Mensur Akgün Visits NATO-HQ

On November 21-22, 2011 GPoT Director Dr. Mensur Akgün participated in a roundtable in Brussels hosted by Carnegie Europe, EDAM and NATO, as well as a meeting at the NATO-HQ organized by the International Relations Council of Turkey.

Turkish-Israeli Relations and the Middle East Peace Process

GPoT Center hosted a conference with Dr. Alon Liel, in which he presented photos from his, and Mr. Can Yirik’s, book Turkish-Israeli Relations (1949-2010), a pictorial history of the bilateral relationship from its foundations to the present day.
