"SUPPORTING ROLE" THEATER PLAY MET WITH THE MEMBERS OF KÜLTÜR

İKÜ Fine Arts Application and Research Center (GSUAM) brought together the theater play "Supporting Role", which tells the story of a female actress who cannot even be the starring role in her own life with Kültür members and theater lovers. The play, which was staged by Merve Polat at the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus at 19.00 on Thursday, April 18, 2024, received great appreciation from the audience.

“AVIATION SUMMIT 4”

The fourth Aviation Summit, one of the prestigious organizations of Istanbul Kültür University (İKÜ), was held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus. There was an intense participation in the event which brought together the leading professionals of the aviation industry. 

CALL FOR VISITING SCHOLAR PROGRAM

The Visiting Scholar Program offers experienced scholars in the field of Physical Chemistry, Chemical Physics and Molecular Spectroscopy an opportunity to spend 6-12 months with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and to contribute to the knowledge base of the Istanbul Kultur University. Visiting scholar program (VSP@IKU) offers the opportunity to work on applicants’ own original research that aligns with the main areas of research of the program.

OUR RECTOR PROF. DR. FADİME ÜNEY YÜKSEKTEPE ATTENDED THE IFTAAR PROGRAM ORGANIZED BY COUNCIL OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Higher Education Council (YÖK) Chairperson Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar came together with the rectors of universities in Istanbul at the Iftaar program. During the event, which our Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe also attended, ideas were exchanged to enhance the quality of the higher education system.

PROF. DR. NİHAL SARIER'S INVENTION RECEIVED ITS SECOND INTERNATIONAL PATENT REGISTRATION

“AN ORGANIZATION STORY: MOLECULAR BIOLOGY AND GENETICS” & COMMEMORATION DAY OF PROF. DR. ATİLLA ÖZALPAN

The Founding Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (MOBİGEN), our esteemed teacher Prof. Dr. Atilla Özalpan was commemorated with the event held on the 12th year of his passing away. The event, which was held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, was attended by two of the previous rectors of our university, Member of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr Tamer Koçel and Prof. Dr Dursun Koçer, Head of the Department of Physics, with their speeches titled "An Organization Story: Molecular Biology and Genetics". 

Career Honorary Awards Found Their Recipients

The "Career Honorary Awards", traditionally organized by Istanbul Kültür University Career Club, found their owners at the ceremony held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Center in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus. Participation in the ceremony, where all proceeds of the night were donated to DOSTEV, where young people with Down syndrome and mentally impaired people and their families work, was very high. Nearly 40 names from the sports, media, music and business worlds were deemed worthy of awards. Individuals with autism also attended the ceremony.

Ceyhun Atuf Kansu Şiirleri Eşliğinde “KADIN” Fotoğrafları Sergisi İKÜSAG’da Açıldı

As a tribute to the universal and inspiring struggle of women, the exhibition titled "WOMAN", created by 36 photographers accompanied by 36 Ceyhun Atuf Kansu poems, was opened on Wednesday, March 6th at 15.00 at IKU Art Gallery (IKUSAG). Organized to contribute to the power, resistance and struggle of women on the occasion of "March 8, International Women's Day", this exhibition was designed to reflect the profound impact of women in their lives and the value they add to society.
