GPoT Center, in partnership with the Centre for Economics and Foreign Policy Studies (EDAM), organized a three-day introductory workshop on nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament with the participation of 20 international experts, journalists, and representatives of civil society between the 10th and 12th of October, 2012.
The Danish VL20 group– a network group of top executives, former top executives and board members, and members of the national organization of top executives, the Danish Management Society – visited GPoT Center on September 28th, 2012.
Following the study visits to Turkey and Cyprus in June 2012, international experts from Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Greece, United States of America, Cyprus, and Turkey visited Moldova between September 23-27, 2012 to learn about the Transnistrian conflict and gain first-hand knowledge to be utilized when writing a comparative analysis of the existing division in Cyprus and Moldova.
GPoT Center, in collaboration with Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF), brought four journalists to Armenia between the 20th and 24th of September, 2012 under the "TV Talk Shows" activity, which is a part of "Support to Armenia-Turkey Rapprochement" Project.
GPoT Center, in collaboration with the Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, hosted Amb. Hüseyin Diriöz on the premises of Istanbul Kültür University on September 17th, 2012.
GPoT Center, in partnership with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung’s Istanbul office and the Israeli Institute for Regional Foreign Policies(MITVIM), organized an interactive policy discussion entitled “Turkish-Israeli relations and the Paradigm Shift in the Middle East” with the participation of leading Israeli and Turkish experts on September 13th, 2012.
Fifteen experts from Moldova, Turkey, Greece, and USA visited Cyprus between June 21st and 23rd, 2012 in order to learn about conflict resolution strategies and confidence building measures, which have been applied as part of reunification efforts within the scope of track one and track two diplomacy in Cyprus.
