    Global Political Trends Center (GPoT), together with Armenia-based Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF) and Yerevan Press Club (YPC) held a three-day-long conference entitled “Armenia-Turkey Policy and Media Discussions”, and a cultural tour at Istanbul’s Heybeliada (Halki Island) and Istanbul Kültür University between July 11th and 13th, 2011.

  • EPF Executive Committee Members Visit GPoT Center

    Members of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation Executive Committee visited GPoT Center on July 8th, 2011.

    During the 3-hour long meeting held on the premises of Istanbul Kultur University, the GPoT Center staff discussed with the Members of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation Executive Committee, in detail, the current domestic politics in Turkey as well as foreign policies of both Turkey and Armenia.

  • Turkey - Armenia Journalism Award Ceremony

    Global Political Trends Center (GPoT) together with Armenia-based Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF) and Yerevan Press Club (YPC) held the Annual Journalism Award Ceremony both in Armenia and Turkey in the year of 2011.

  • Book Launch: Turkish-Israeli Relations (1949-2010)

    On Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C., GPoT Center launched Dr. Alon Liel and Mr. Can Yirik's book Turkish-Israeli Relations (1949-2010), a pictorial history of the bilateral relationship from its foundations to the present day.

  • The Belgian Model: In the Light of Turkey's Constitutional Debate

    On June 17th, 2011, GPoT Center organized a round-table meeting with the participation of Mr. François Del Marmol, the Consul General of Belgium in Istanbul.

    The event, entitled "The Belgian Model: In the Light of Turkey's Constitutional Debate," was attended by Ms. Danielle Del Marmol, who serves on the Board of Trustees of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation, as well as academics from the Istanbul Kültür University, GPoT Center's High Advisory Board members, and journalists.
